Terms and Conditions

Shipping

• All orders are shipped FOB Paradigm Trends’ warehouse in Teterboro, NJ 07608, unless otherwise noted.
• Prices do not include NY sales tax (if applicable) or freight costs from the FOB point.
• International clients are responsible for all import tariffs.
• Prices quoted are valid for up to 60 days unless stated otherwise.

Payment Terms

• Prepayment via check or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX) is required for first orders.
• All international orders must be prepaid.
• To request credit terms, customers must complete Paradigm Trends’ credit application.
  • Failure to adhere to terms may result in revocation of payment terms, reverting the account to prepayment status.
• For made-to-order items, a 50% deposit is required, with the balance due before shipment (including shipping and handling fees).
• Accepted payment methods: check, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), and ACH (wire transfer).
  • A 3% fee applies to all credit card payments.
  • All wire fees are paid by the client.
  • All payments must be in US Dollars.
• A $25.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks.

Ordering

• All orders must be submitted via email or fax.
• Orders must be placed in current case pack quantities.
• Customers are responsible for freight costs, including:
  • Inside deliveries
  • Lift gate requirements
  • LCL charges
• If incorrect shipping information is provided, an additional shipping invoice will be sent for payment.

Manufacturing and Returns

• All made-to-order items are not returnable.
• No returns will be accepted without a Paradigm Trends Return Authorization (RA) number.
  • Returned goods must be in saleable condition and in their original packaging.
  • Return requests must be made within 5 days of delivery.
  • A 25% restocking fee and all freight charges apply to returns.
  • There are no returns on production/custom orders.

Cancellations

• All cancellations must be:
  • Received in writing
  • Approved with a confirmation number issued by Paradigm Trends
  • Submitted within 3 business days of the purchase order date
• If these requirements are not met, the order is considered binding.

Delivery and Claims

• Before signing the Bill of Lading (BOL), ensure all cartons and/or pallets are properly sealed or shrink-wrapped.
• Immediately report any discrepancies to both the delivery company and your Paradigm Trends contact within 24 hours.
• Inspect your order upon arrival. Any discrepancies or damages must be reported within 5 days of receipt.
• Any damage or loss must be claimed by the consignee with the carrier.
• For product replacements, a minimum of 10 damaged units must be returned.

Warranty

• Paradigm Trends warrants products for 1 year from the date received.
• This warranty covers defects in material or workmanship under normal use and maintenance.
• Defective products will be replaced with goods that are identical or reasonably equivalent.

Collections and Legal

• Customers agree to pay:
  • All collection costs and attorney fees
  • Interest at 1.5% per month (or the maximum rate allowed by law) on any unpaid balance
