Sustainability
By championing responsible manufacturing and collaborating with skilled artisans who share our values, our collections transcend the ordinary while contributing to a greener future. We are immensely proud to use sustainable and recycled materials whenever possible; Paradigm Trends primarily sources mango wood and stainless steel. Mango wood is considered a by-product of the mango tree once fruit can longer grow. Mango wood does not need much processing to go from tree to a finished product, giving it a lower manufacturing footprint overall. Recycled stainless steel is “closed loop production”; no materials are wasted and everything is re-used over and over again. It is our goal to source products that enhance the handicraft industry in India and to reduce our carbon footprint in the process.
We are proud members of The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), which is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned, controlled, and operated by women in the United States. Our factories are also in the process of obtaining our PEFC & NCCF certificates.
We are always identifying ways in which our materials can be more sustainable. We are currently looking at implementing recycled plastic liners for our wastebaskets, in addition to sourcing vegan and/or plant-based leathers.
We primarily use mango wood, which is both more sustainable and more durable than bamboo – its popular counterpart. We are also expanding our teakwood selection. Additionally, we occasionally utilize MDF as a base material for our leather-wrapped products. You can find out more about our mango wood here.
Yes, we have liners that are made from stainless steel, which is a closed-loop production. We are working on implementing recycled plastic liners.
We understand the role we must play in order to keep this planet thriving, and so sustainability is at the forefront of our minds when we’re designing our products. From expanding our sustainable materials to working with eco-conscious factories, we are evolving everyday.

Care & Cleaning
We generally provide a warranty for one year from the date received by the client, however we advise that you check your agreed upon terms. This warranty only covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use and maintenance. We will replace the product with goods that are identical or reasonably equivalent to the goods.
While we do provide fingerprint-resistant metal products, you can take extra steps for precaution. Wearing gloves, especially cotton or microfiber gloves, can prevent direct contact between your fingers and the stainless steel surface, reducing the likelihood of leaving fingerprints. Regularly clean the stainless steel surface with a mild soap and water solution. This can help remove fingerprints and maintain the appearance of the surface.
The use of diluted white vinegar solution or rubbing alcohol can also prevent dust settling, but test it on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn’t damage the metal. After cleaning, gently buff the stainless steel surface with a microfiber cloth to remove any remaining fingerprints and restore shine.
You should clean the exterior regularly with mild soap and water, avoiding harsh chemicals. We advise that you periodically disassemble and clean pump parts with warm, soapy water. Avoid overfilling your soap pumps, mix products cautiously, and store away from sunlight to prevent damage.
Keep your wood products away from direct sunlight and extreme heat to prevent discoloration. We advise that you regularly apply a wood conditioner or polish to maintain the wood’s natural color and prevent drying.
Wipe the stained area with a damp cloth to remove any surface dirt or residue, then mix mild soap or detergent with warm water to create a gentle cleaning solution. Windex is also suitable. Dip a clean cloth or sponge into the solution and gently scrub the stained area in circular motions. Rinse the area with clean water and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
For tougher stains, you can try using a diluted vinegar solution or rubbing alcohol, but test it on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn’t damage the faux leather.
Allow the faux leather to air dry completely before using or applying any leather conditioner to restore its texture and appearance.
