I am the lucky daughter of Bette, the founder of Paradigm Trends. She started the business when I was 6 years old, and less than 20 years later, we sat in our neighborhood diner as I nervously asked my mom if I could join the company. She took her time to deliberate, but luckily said yes! Ever since I was young, I always said that I wanted to work with my mom in her business, and she made that dream come true. Over 20 years later, I am part owner of the company alongside my mom and brother, and I work on all facets of the business each day. I feel incredibly grateful to be living my dream!
While having an Economics degree from Cornell opened many doors for me, I’ve been able to learn and hone an even wider range of skills at Paradigm. I entered the business with the mission of turning us into a well-known brand. It wasn’t easy, but we made it happen.
A process-oriented person, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed establishing the business processes here at Paradigm. My most significant achievement was when my mom handed me the design reigns of Paradigm. It was a scary adventure since design is at the foundation of our business, but it was also very rewarding.
When I’m not working, it’s family time with my husband and two kids. We’re an active family, whether that means hiking, swimming, skiing (well, some of us!), or playing a friendly game of corn hole.
